About Nat's Netball Club
Nat's Netball Club is affiliated to England Netball (no 18656) and is a community based junior club providing netball training and competitive opportunities for girls of all abilities age 6-18 in a safe and fun environment.
We train at Mill Hill School Sports Centre, The Ridgeway NW7 1AQ.
NNC began in January 2012 with 36 members. We now coach over 600 girls every week. We have 43 teams playing across regional & local junior and senior leagues, and provide in-school clubs to local primary schools.
We are an all-inclusive club and aim to develop a love of netball alongside maximising each player’s potential. Every year several of our players are selected into Middlesex/Hertfordshire Netball Satellite Academies, and teams such as Mavericks and London Pulse, while others don’t play matches at all as they just enjoy the social element of the game. Elite doesn’t mean exclusive.
About our Coaches
Coach and safeguarding officer - Debbie Colton
I have loved Netball since I played for school. I went back to netball after having kids and trained as a coach and qualified as a referee whilst living in Hong Kong, where I also played in the Hong Kong league for Kowloon. Having started my coaching career at Nord Anglia International School in HK I came back to the UK and joined NNC as well as coaching at primary schools. I love to see young people grow in confidence and skill whilst nurturing their enjoyment of the game. As the profile of netball grows in the UK it's a privilege to be part of a great community club.
Head coach & club manager - Natalie Kenton
I love being on a netball court – playing or coaching – and I do a lot of both! I have my Level 2 UKCC coaching certificate and in 2022 I won the Hertfordshire county Jenny Evans award. Having coached netball for nearly 15 years, starting off in a single primary school, I have since developed a passion for netball and the community itself.
I have a close relationship with Maccabi GB, supporting all their netballing events as well as coaching their squads for the Maccabi Youth Games in 2018 and chairing the netball for Team GB in the Maccabiah Games 2022.
Over the years i have developed close links to Israel Netball & NNC runs annual training camps for their national junior squad in London.
Performance coach - Helen Haralambous
My first experience of Netball was at school, where I went onto develop my love for the sport. I was fortunate to have a coach who was an ex England player. I’ve have now been a player for over 35 years, and a coach for over 25. As a coach I have developed both Junior & Senior players.
As a player I’ve competed at various levels, Division 1, Premier Division, Herts County for 2 seasons & Bucks County 1 Season. Playing for many teams over the years, to name but a few: Hertford Hornets, Saffron Hawks, Greys, Gadeside, Krosskeys and Tornadoes.
In more recent years I have been involved in mentoring and developing young players crossing over to senior leagues. I have also had the privilege of working with older, veteran players that are unable to play competitively anymore and those who have returned to the sport after time out, this was under the Back to Netball and Walking Netball programmes at Aspire Luton, Beds.
Netball for me and many I have worked with over the years, is more than just a sport we love. It has provided a physical outlet when life has been challenging. It has given me balance, happiness and a sense of community.I feel privileged to now be involved with NNC, where I want every player whatever their level to grow & experience the joy playing this sport can bring.
To put it simply thats why I Coach.
