NNC GUIDELINES FOR TRAINING DURING COVID PANDEMIC:

Under the current government guidelines most ball sports are permitted. However, netball is considered to be a high risk sport and under England Netball’s guidelines we are only allowed to train, not play games.  NNC will continue to follow the England Netball guidelines as they are updated https://www.englandnetball.co.uk/about/covid-19-support/

We will be offering skill training for footwork, movement, ball handling, shooting, strength, endurance and fitness until restrictions change.

We will be doing the following:

1.Limiting group sizes

2.Observing 2m social distancing guidelines

3.Providing face masks free of charge for those who want to wear them

4.Providing hand sanitiser free of charge to be used before and after every session

5.Cleaning all equipment using an antibacterial spray before every session

6.Permitting gloves to be worn by those who choose to wear them

7.Training without playing any netball games and without using positional bibs

8.Keeping a register of attendees so we can use Track & Trace

We ask that participants do the following:

1.Do not bring your child to training if they, or anyone in your household, experiences Covid-like symptoms.

2.Take your child’s temperature before coming to a session

3.Make sure your child goes to the toilet before coming to the session

4.Wash hands before coming to a session
